Obesity is now seen as a major political and health issue in Europe and the European Congress on Obesity (ECO) provides an essential platform for discussion on the latest scientific developments in the field. The first European Congress on Obesity (ECO) took place in Stockholm in 1988. ECO now takes place on an annual basis and attracts thousands of international delegates.
