A NNI symposium entitled "Do we need to change nutrition practice in ICU?” chaired by Prof. Takala took place at the ESICM congress (European Society of Intensive Care Medicine) in Barcelona. Recent data were presented, showing the opportunity for improvement in EN provision in ICU in terms of early (within 24h) delivery and adequacy of EN provision (calorie and protein delivered vs prescribed).
